EMPOWER HER® is The Rose Sponsorship Program for Low-Income Uninsured Women

An important part of the Empower Her® program is the Patient Navigator. The Patient Navigator provides one-on-one advocacy and mentoring support for the patient to overcome barriers such as language, transportation, cultural myths, and childcare. The Patient Navigator ushers breast cancer patients through the entire process of diagnosis, to physician referral, to treatment. Patient navigation services include assistance with paperwork, translation, education, prosthesis, and access to any resource individuals may need to expedite healing and recovery.

When additional procedures or treatment not provided by The Rose are required, assistance is provided to gain access into other healthcare systems through the Physician Network. The Physician Network is a network of volunteer physicians who have agreed to donate services to one The Rose patient a year. Click here to find out more about Physician Network.
