What is Mobile Mammography?
The Rose Mobile Mammography Program uses the Planmed Sophie Classic Mobile system for high image quality screening mammography, which provides the same high-quality mammograms in your location as those available at one of The Rose facilities.

Who can use Mobile Mammography?
Women 35 and older who are not experiencing any breast symptoms or problems can be screened by Mobile Mammography.

Who is not a candidate for Mobile Mammography?
Women who are under age 35, have been diagnosed with breast cancer within the prior two years, are pregnant or currently breast feeding, have implants or are experiencing symptoms cannot be screened and need to schedule their imaging at one of The Rose’s two facilities. What is the Mobile Mammography site criteria?
Each site must provide:
Adequate ramp for loading/unloading
Parking for van and patients
Private screening room (9’x9’ minimum)
Wide hallways for maneuvering equipment
Elevator (if not on the first floor)
Three grounded outlets per room
Additional space for a small table and two chairs
